Christopher Schuck

Senior Epitaxial Engineer, Leonardo Electronics US Inc.

Christopher Schuck is the father of two brilliant and feisty girls. He holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineer and a Bachelor’s Degrees in Physics and Biotechnology. As a parent and scientist, he is passionate about empowering and educating youth, particularly in STEM.

Christopher is currently the Senior Epitaxial Engineer at Leonardo Electronics US Inc., where he helps run a team of engineers and technicians responsible for the operation and maintenance of semiconductor epitaxy reactors, for the design, production, and characterization of laser diodes. Previously, he worked at the University of Delaware managing a research facility and at Boise State University conducting research. He also currently serves in the Air National Guard, and has served in the Air Force since 2001, mostly in aircraft maintenance and electronics.

Christopher believes that STEM education of our children is critical for the development and sustainability of Arizona as well as our planet. He joined the SARSEF Board to support its vision of empowering every child to think critically.
