Jeremiah is a SARSEF alumnus and entrepreneur whose past science fair concept is now a launchpad for subsurface resource exploration and imaging. Jeremiah is the 2016 founder and CEO of Tucson-based Lunasonde. His startup emphasizes the importance of sustainability and exploration without disruption to the environment. In 2020, Jeremiah was a recipient of Forbes 30 under 30 in Manufacturing and Industry. His company’s technology most recently launched from a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in January of 2022.
Jeremiah has a strong background in STEM, participating in SARSEF and the International Science and Engineering Fair programs from 2006 through 2017. Jeremiah earned the Dudley S. Herschbach award in 2017 and presented his research as a TEDx speaker. He served as an intern at the University of Pennsylvania Shorter Laboratory and attended University of Arizona. He is also a member of ARRL and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Jeremiah firmly believes that the young innovators and entrepreneurs of today can creatively solve the problems of tomorrow.
