Director, Marketing & Communications, Trico Electric Cooperative

Roberta Lopez-Suter is the Director of Marketing & Communications of Trico Electric Cooperative, a non-profit electric distribution cooperative serving 45,000 members in about a 4,000 square mile service area surrounding Tucson, Arizona.

Prior to joining Trico, Roberta worked for the City of Tucson for 20 years in the City Manager’s Office and Tucson Water as a Public Information Officer. She also serves on the Boards of the Marana Chamber of Commerce and the Sahuarita Food Bank & Community Resource Center.  

Roberta graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Journalism. She is also a Member of the Public Relations Society of America (S. AZ Chapter) and has been Accredited in Public Relations (APR) for more than 20 years. She enjoys volunteering with SARSEF because they truly inspire and engage students for life. Roberta spends her days off enjoying life with her husband who is a teacher and their three kids.
