Jessica Howe

Manager of In-School Outreach

Jessica Howe is part of the SARSEF team as the Manager of In-School Outreach. In this position, she delivers differentiated programs for various schools and districts across Arizona in pre-k -8th grade classrooms. She leads science and engineering workshops for educators including during Arizona STEM Adventure in partnership with STEM-azing. Her role at SARSEF is integral in inspiring future engineers, scientists and critical thinkers in Arizona classrooms.

Before joining SARSEF, Jessica worked as an elementary teacher in the Flowing Wells Unified School District for ten years. In her time in public education, Jessica worked with students in grades k-6 with most of her focus in primary grades. She served as a mentor for University of Arizona aspiring educators, created a school garden on her school campus and led social media accounts to create connections with families in the community.

Most notably, she served as a STEM-azing leader throughout the Flowing Wells School District. During this time, she created curricula to meet the Arizona Science and Engineering standards for multiple grade levels. She helped teachers grow and feel confident in their scientific instruction while developing meaningful and hands-on experiences for children.
