In May, eight Southern Arizona students competed as finalists at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (Regeneron ISEF) for $5 million in awards and prizes. The students qualified to participate in the competition at the SARSEF Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
Regeneron ISEF 2021 included 1,833 finalists representing 49 states and 64 countries from across the world. This year marked the first time in the competition’s more than 70-year history that the event took place virtually.
Of the eight Southern Arizona students who competed at Regeneron ISEF, six won awards. You can find the full list of finalists below:
