SARSEF Fair Winners 2019
Thank you for being involved with your child’s life and encouraging them to have an interest in science or engineering.
We know that the more parents are involved and interested in their child’s education, the more likely that he or she will be successful.
SARSEF teaches a universal practice (or process) of using data to make decisions and evidence to form conclusions as they answer questions about problems that are of concern.
We know that once a child learns how to think critically, it becomes a way of life that carries forward into any situation, and any career. It means SARSEF is no longer focuses on the ever-changing, and highly specific STEM skills, but instead teaches children “how to think”.
In this way, our community will have a future citizenry that has learned how to learn, makes sound data-based decisions, can solve problems that arise, and is constantly updating their knowledge base. They form the ideal workforce for tomorrow.

Your help will be essential throughout the science fair process — from driving to the store to buy supplies, to taking dictation as you help type the report, to helping to create the project display board. Your help is so appreciated!
We want to help you as well.
Just follow the steps outlined on this website, and you will lead your child to a science or engineering project that they will never forget. The time you spend working together on this special project may be the best memories, and reward of all.
