Citizen scientists we need you! Yes, you!
Anyone, any age, can help a scientist by collecting data!
SARSEF created the What Do You Wonder: A Community of Young Scientists virtual program in response to our southern Arizona students’ curiosity about the world around them and current events.
Our goal is to meet students where they are providing them opportunities to observe, wonder and research while flexing their critical thinking and problem solving muscles. SARSEF is working alongside our young scientists (PreK-12th grade), as they create research questions and determine data collection methods to answer their current questions.
Our young scientist are ready for your help. You can be a Citizen Scientist and a valuable part of their journey by helping them to collect data. Our students will be collecting their data April 10-19, 2020. Five research projects have been developed and include a Data Sheet where we ask that you complete an activity and record your data over 3 days. This sheet can be printed, electronically filled out or hand written – as long as you collect the data consistently and in real-time! Once you have finished recording your data for 3 days, you will enter your results into the Data Submission survey.
Calling all Citizen Scientists!
All ages welcome to join us in gathering data!
